The Tibetan Association of Boston is greatly honored to invite His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama of Tibet, who has graciously agreed to share the message of hope and compassion in a public address. The universally recognized spiritual and temporal leader of the Tibetan people and Nobel Peace Laureate will host two public talks on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.

The morning session from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. will be a brief introduction to Tibetan Buddhism (The Four Noble Truths). The afternoon session from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. will be a public talk on "A Path to Peace and Happiness".

Lunch break entertainment: Grammy Nominee Nawang Khechog will perform "music and contemplation on universal love and compassion". Please visit www.nawangkhechog.com to learn more about Nawang la and his music. This will be followed by performances from the Tibetan Boston Dance Troupe.

Ticket prices start from $37.50 for both the morning and afternoon session, and $22.50 for only the afternoon session. Tickets can be purchased online through Ticketmaster or by phone (866) 448-7849. Click here for the press release

Ordained Monk or Nun: There will be a separate seating for Sanghas. To request, please mail two passport size photos, a copy of your identification, social security number and a letter of recommendation from your monastery or temple by April 13, 2009. Evening Dinner and Concert:TAB will host an evening dinner and concert on May 2nd at Armenian Cultural & Educational Center (47 Nicholas Ave, Watertown). The concert will feature Nawang Khechog, Kesang Marstrand, Phurbu T. Namgyal and Penpa Tsering. Reception will start at 7pm. Cover charge will be $20 per person.
